Activation and Deactivation
Learn about active and deacticated clients
Clients can be in one of two statuses:
ACTIVE: Clients that actively perform authorization with users
DEACTIVATED: configured but cannot start authorizations
SSO allows for a limited number of active clients per an account and an unlimited number of deactivated accounts. New clients are created as deactivated, to allow configuration of clients even if the account limit of active clients is full.
Clients can be deactivated or reactivated at any time in an active SSO Account. Deactivating a client will immediately prevent the ability for end-users to authorize. Alternatively, re-activating a client, will immediately re-enable th authorization flow.
On a deactivated SSO account, all clients behave as deactivated, even if they were active before deactivation.
Activation and deactivation can be done on the SSO Client Management screen using checkboxes in the Activate column.
